Re-Writing Resilience: Finding Success and Happiness Amid Life's Storms

ree

It's interesting to note how, despite significant adversity, I remain resilient and generally happy, even when faced with challenges that have brought me to my knees. My perspective on what success and what's important in life have evolved significantly due to my experiences. When I was younger, I equated success with having a solid career and earning a lot of money; although let’s admit, the concept of 'a lot of money' is quite subjective.

Recently, I found myself explaining how happiness and sadness can coexist in the complex fabric of our world. Life experiences and adversity, although often devastating, have opened up new ways for me to view situations and honor the memories of others in ways that are meaningful to me.

Through change, I've welcomed new people and experiences into my life, leading to fresh insights on what success truly means. It's become clear that success isn't a one-size-fits-all concept, and that's great. I'm excited about the prospect of sharing my journey towards success, as shaped by these experiences, in my upcoming book.
